The Association of Newfoundland and Labrador Archives presents a 2-day workshop on

Basic Preservation

Dates: February 19-20, 2015   9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Location:  ANLA office, Suite 201, 15 Hallett Crescent, St. John’s

(Parking is available in the adjacent parking lot.)

This workshop will introduce participants to basic preservation concepts for archival institutions, including preservation planning, disaster and emergency awareness, security, condition reports and measures to prevent damage and deterioration. Activities will include some hands-on exercises, and participants are encouraged to bring forward any specific preservation concerns they may have about their own holdings.

Fees:      Members: $100; Non-members: $125
