Scanning Parties & Digital Preservation Virtual Lunch and Learn with Juliet Lanphear

Registration is now open for the Scanning Parties & Digital Preservation Virtual Lunch and Learn with Juliet Lanphear!

The Association of Newfoundland and Labrador Archives is excited to host a Scanning Parties & Digital Preservation Virtual Training in partnership with Heritage NL.

This webinar will focus on Heritage NL’s popular public program, scanning parties, and the best practices for scanning, preserving, and storing digitized materials. A scanning party is an informal photo collection session where community members come with their own photographs to be scanned and returned to them at the event. Juliet Lanphear from Heritage NL will explain all the basics of scanning parties, specifically using photo scanners, metadata, and storage for your newly digitized materials.
