As an archivist and public folklorist, I help communities shape their identities and preserve their
traditional cultures. I’ve been working within the heritage community since 2004, and hold a BA in Folklore / English Literature and an MA in Public Folklore from Memorial University (MUN). I currently hold the position of archival assistant with MUN’s Folklore and Language Archive (MUNFLA) and sit as president on the Association of Newfoundland and Labrador Archives (ANLA) board of directors. I also work and volunteer regularly within the archival community and have a particular interest in digitization, folk art and occupational folklore.
