Alanna graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Arts in Folklore and Anthropology and a Masters Degree in Public and Applied Folklore. She has spent time working with various organizations throughout the province including the Heritage Foundation of NL, the Historic Sites Association, and most recently the City of St. John’s Archives as the Archives Technician. Alanna began volunteering with the executive board of the Association of Newfoundland and Labrador Archives (ANLA) in 2014 as co-director and shortly after moved into the role of secretary which she greatly enjoys! She believes in the work that ANLA does and is excited to see how it grows and evolves in the future.
